You can download the ScanZOOM app for your cell phones FREE from scanbuy.com. In addition to the software you will receive a free macro lens(if you are in first 2000 beta testers)for the phone. The macro lens is an add on snapable lens for the phone and is useful for taking pictures of barcodes with clarity. The add on lens has 50 mm focal length and is perfect to have a clear shot of the barcode.

The app lets you scan and decode barcodes on products and do price comparision. You see the details of the product scanned (eg books) including a picture and prices offered by different sellers. The scanned barcodes are also stored in the database and you can visit Scanzoom.com and login with your username and see all the products you have scanned. The portal has the option to buy those products directly from the site at the cheapest prices.

Overall, i would like to say its a killer app. No matter where you are you always have a tool with you to find the cheapest price of any product you come across and like.
